General Manager
Quick Overview
My client is looking for a General Manager to lead their Reno restoration operation. Established market presence, a solid team already in place, and real growth runway ahead. You'll be the CEO of this market. Full ownership of operations, team leadership, project delivery, and financial performance. This is for someone who has run a restoration operation and is ready to do it with real autonomy, real backing, and real upside.
THE WHO
An owner-operated restoration company backed by a 50-year-old network of nearly 400 offices across the US and Canada. This market sits inside a multi-market portfolio led by a seasoned operator who has built and scaled profitable restoration businesses from the ground up. This is not a corporate-owned, committee-run franchise. This is an entrepreneur-led operation with real capital, proven systems, and a track record of investing in leaders who produce. The owner is looking for someone who thinks like an owner, makes decisions like an owner, and takes pride in building something that matters.
THE WHAT
You will run the Reno market. Own the operations, drive project delivery, develop the team, and hit the financial targets that take this business to the next level. You'll partner closely with a dedicated sales leader who owns revenue and business development. Between the two of you, this market grows.
THE WHY
Restoration is personal. When a family calls at 2am because their basement flooded or their kitchen caught fire, your team is the one that shows up. Your work isn't just about revenue. It's about putting people back in their homes, reopening businesses, and helping neighbors recover from the worst days of their lives. Very few leadership roles give you real P&L ownership, real autonomy, AND the chance to have that kind of impact every day. This is one of them.
THE WHERE
Reno, NV. In-office and in the field. This is a boots-on-the-ground executive role. Candidates must be in Reno or willing to relocate. Local market ties are a plus but not required.
The Role
You are the operational leader for this office. You manage mitigation, reconstruction, and project management. You develop your project managers, superintendents, and technicians into a team that delivers on time and on budget. You own EBITDA. You partner with a sales leader who owns revenue and business development. You report directly to the VP of Operations, who has built and scaled multiple restoration markets and knows what good operations looks like. This seat comes with real autonomy, real backing, and a clear path for the right leader to grow with the business.
